Support Efforts to Stop Drunk Driving

Tell Congress not to Defund Impaired Driving Technology

Be a leader in preventing impaired driving!

Every single person who works in our great industry wants to drive on safe roadways, roads free of drunk and impaired drivers. Our industry has a longstanding history of making drunk driving prevention a top priority.
We’re asking you to play a leadership role in preventing impaired driving.
The HALT/RIDE Acts, bills that advanced impaired driving technology, were passed as part of a larger package, and the Department of Transportation is currently writing a rulemaking for the technology. Now, that work is at risk of losing all funding
Representative Massie from Kentucky introduced amendment #20 to the FY2024 House Transportation, Housing and Urban Development and Related Agencies (THUD) Appropriations bill that would defund the work the Department of Transportation is doing on the advanced impaired driving prevention technology.
To show our industry’s strong leadership and to do the right thing, please join us in advocating for the full funding of the HALT and RIDE Acts by asking members of Congress to Vote NO on Massie Amendment #20. The vote could take place in the next 24 hours.

Tell your legislator to support the HALT/RIDE Acts and vote NO on Massie Amendment #20!
